Michael is a Managing Director in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale office with more than 15 years of experience leading complex financial and operational restructurings, turnarounds, and performance improvement initiatives. He partners with management teams, boards of directors, lenders, investors, and private equity sponsors to stabilize liquidity, preserve value, and drive strategic outcomes in both in-court and out-of-court situations.

Michael has served in senior leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, and has successfully led cross-functional teams through high-stakes engagements across industries such as Restaurants, Food & Beverage, Aerospace & Defense, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, and Marketing. His work frequently includes:

• Developing and executing restructuring and turnaround plans
• Leading covenant and lender negotiations, including forbearance and refinancing processes
• Managing liquidity and 13-week cash flow forecasting
• Implementing cost-reduction and operational efficiency initiatives
• Driving integration strategies and synergies in M&A transactions

Prior to his current role, Michael was a Director in Capstone Partners’ Financial Advisory Services group and held senior positions at SierraConstellation Partners and Carl Marks Advisors. Earlier in his career, he served as Group CFO of a collective of marketing agencies and as President & CEO of a restaurant group.
