Case Narrative

DSI was appointed as Examiner of this 260-bed nursing home located in the State of New York.  The State of New York had identified deficiencies in patient care and agreed to continued operation of the facility under the supervision of a Receiver. Due to deteriorating financial condition, the entity filed a petition for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.  DSI performed a review of the historical and current operations of this healthcare facility and issued a report to the Bankruptcy Court identifying financial issues and recommendations on a streamlined reorganization process.
