Case Narrative

Caribbean Farming, Ltd. (CFL) was an agricultural/farming operation based in the country of Belize.  DSI was retained by the secured lender to provide an assessment of the business/operating plan of the company and negotiate a forbearance agreement to restructure or pay down debt.  CFL was a significant member of the Belize Banana Growers Association and exported a significant amount of bananas to the European Union community.  CFL also operated an aqua culture operation growing farm-raised shrimp and had citrus plantation operations.  DSI assisted in the negotiation of a forbearance agreement, monitored operations and reported progress to the secured lender during the forbearance process.
