Case Narrative

Orient Fisheries, Inc. d/b/a OFI Markesa International (OFI), an importer of shrimp and other seafood products for sale in the United States, engaged DSI as its financial advisor to assist the Company in reaching a settlement with a significant judgment creditor.

DSI provided valuations, liquidation analyses and recovery scenarios to support negotiations with the judgment creditor.  DSI’s tactical advice and restructuring proposals aided the Company in negotiating a successful resolution to avoid an insolvency proceeding.
