Case Narrative

DSI was retained as Liquidating Trustee and Plan Agent as part of the Confirmed Chapter 11 Plan of NFL player Michael D. Vick. This role included the assessment and prosecution of claims and causes of action, liquidation of various assets, including homes, horses, investments, securities and the monitoring/management of post confirmation plan matters involving payments of post confirmation income into the Liquidating Trust. The Liquidating Trustee worked to reduce filed and scheduled claims by 50%. The results of the case was a distribution to creditors of $99 cents on allowed claims of just shy of $18,000,000.
