Case Narrative

DSI was initially brought in by the company’s Board of Directors to assist in the filing of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding.  DSI’s role increased substantially when the president of the company expressed the desire to purchase the assets of the company.  DSI then took over control of the business operations and the marketing of the assets for sale.  After bidding took place, the business was sold to a group who was not the stalking horse offeror.  After the closing of the sale of the assets, the case was converted to a Chapter 7 and a Trustee was appointed.
