Case Narrative

DSI provided select members of its senior personnel to Rabobank in London as experts in U.S. banking standards and practices with regard to a claim alleging that Rabobank was negligent in purchasing a loan from a co-lender. The dispute stemmed from the failure of a large California-based processor of dried fruit and nuts.

DSI provided four reports, and senior DSI personnel testified in the High Court of Justice (U.K.) with respect to Rabobank’s actions in the credit.  DSI also provided consulting expertise, as well as tactical and strategic advice during the conduct of the case.  DSI’s reports, advice and testimony were related to the areas of banking, securitizations and agricultural finance practices.
