Case Narrative

Pursuant to the Chapter 11 reorganization plans of movie actor Burton L. Reynolds and Burt Reynolds Productions, Inc., DSI was appointed as Trustee to manage the post-confirmation affairs of the estates to maximize asset liquidation values, pursue causes of action, administer and settle claims and prepare distributions to creditors.  This project included the sale of Mr. Reynolds’ Jupiter, Florida, ranch, a 150-acre property.  This ranch included a small museum, shops, a petting zoo, movie production facilities and an airstrip.  In a creative resolution, the ranch was ultimately sold to the Martin County School Board to be utilized for a future site of schools in a growing community.
