Fireside Chat with Bill Brandt and Rick Mikels at the NYIC Virtual Credit Smorgasbord

The pandemic has created a wave of change in the world and our practice. Virtual courtrooms are one such change, along with a collection of under-the-radar modifications to the Bankruptcy Code designed to alleviate the pandemic’s economic oddities.

Two industry stalwarts and veterans of legislative debates, Bill Brandt and Rick Mikels, will discuss these changes. The panel will highlight changes enacted because of the pandemic and those in the works before (such as the SBRA). Additionally, Brandt and Mikels will explore how these changes to the Code, our practice and the industry, are just the tip of the iceberg.
