Daniel Stermer is a Managing Director in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale office with over 34 years of private and public sector experience. Mr. Stermer has experience serving as a fiduciary in a variety of settings, including as Assignee for the Benefit of Creditor, Receiver, Corporate Monitor, Liquidating Trustee, Chief Restructuring Officer, and Litigation Trustee to name a few.

In addition to acting in matters where Mr. Stermer is the fiduciary, Mr. Stermer also provides litigation and administrative support and assistance to other fiduciaries in their matters.Prior to joining DSI, Mr. Stermer has served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Department of Legal Affairs, State of Florida; a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York; and an Assistant District Attorney with the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Stermer is admitted to practice law in both New York and Florida.
