Mark D. Podgainy is a Senior Managing Director in the New York office with over 25 years of experience in operational roles and turnaround consulting.
His expertise includes operations restructuring, business plan analysis, performance improvement, cash and vendor management, workouts, bankruptcy consulting, and interim management engagements. He also works with law firms on forensic and litigation support assignments in bankruptcy cases.
Mr. Podgainy has led turnarounds, reorganizations, asset sales, wind-downs, and liquidations across the real estate, hospitality, education, manufacturing, food and beverage, apparel, and retail sectors. In these engagements, he addresses complex operational, financial, legal, and governance matters to maximize stakeholder value.
Prior to joining DSI, Mr. Podgainy spent nearly three decades working with underperforming, stressed and distressed companies and their creditors, most recently as a member of the senior restructuring team at another middle-market consulting firm.
