This panel will cover the similarities and differences in both state court and federal equity receiverships and how those proceedings can serve as bankruptcy alternatives. The discussion will include the different types of receivership and how to manage the sale of real and personal property, reorganization of operations, the claims and distribution processes, and complex litigation in receivership cases.
