Case Narrative

DSI was appointed Receiver of the dissolved law firm Fieldstone Lester Shear & Denberg, LLP based upon a dispute amongst the partners.  As Receiver, DSI was charged with responsibility of winding up and liquidating the law firm, preserving the assets, including the disputed work-in-progress.  Additionally, the Receiver oversaw all subtenants, existing real estate and equipment leases, pending and potential litigation, and the sale and disbursement of the remaining assets of the law firm.

DSI mediated a full and complete resolution of the litigation and business disputes amongst the former partners resulting in a business settlement agreement and litigation settlement agreement.
